Promo Extensions Capture First-Time Buyers on Search

Opportunity
Towards the end of 2023, we worked with Lansdowne-Moody to finish the year strong by placing even more focus on 0-40HP tractors within their high opportunity sales areas. We knew that the majority of the sales opportunities associated with compact sales for Lansdowne came from first-time buyers.

Strategy
As that audience typically starts on Google Search, we focused our efforts on adding promo extensions assets that called out tractor package deals on their paid search campaigns. These assets would appear on our tractor ads if anyone searched for compact/sub-compact related terms.

Results
Over this three-month experiment, we saw a 49.31% increase in click-through rates and a 232.35% increase in conversion rates compared to the same time period the previous year.
