Creating Urgency with a Countdown Clock

Opportunity
In late September ‘24, River Valley Tractor wanted to make a splash before entering Q4. In order to get the best performance, we created a unique event-style promotion called “RVT’s Kubota Countdown”. The promo was focused on last-second deals for in-stock tractor packages.

Strategy
We identified the sales area that presented the highest opportunities for compact/sub-compact sales. With this target reduction, we knew our frequency would increase for our campaigns, thus improving performance. In addition to creative and targeting changes, we also did a complete overhaul of their tractor package page to match the theme of our new ads.

With these campaigns, we saw a 1,048% increase in traffic to the packages page and a 580% increase in website conversions with a more-than-favorable close rate ensuring that the result was measured in both quantity and quality.
